Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted in ages!
For the last 8 months (ish) I have been suffering with bad tonsillitis just about every week.
As I have just started my GCSEs being ill has really affected my studying and exam prep. So recently I started going to the doctors to see what was the matter (as you are not really supposed to get tonsillitis that often). They did a blood test to test me for glandular fever and various other things, but they all came back negative (so I don't have glandular fever etc.)
The other day they prescribed me antibiotics to try and stop the problems as they don't really know what is wrong with me. I am also going back for another blood test soon.
The other dayI woke up and my epiglottis was sticking up (which it is not supposed to do and is VERY rare for people in the UK due to vaccinations) so I was sent to hospital to be tested by a different doctor. He also didn't know what to do so sent me to a DIFFERENT hospital to have my throat looked at by specialists. They didn't really know what to do either so sent me home and told me to come back if it got any worse.
So overall I have managed to baffle the whole NHS with my throat problems.
Also another reason why I haven't been able to post much is my internet is playing up so haven't been able to access it for what seems like ages! So annoying! You don't realise how much you depend on the internet until you don't have it!
I've also just finished all my GCSE exams for this year (*) so should be able to post more from now on.
